Cancellation policy

14 day cancellation notice prior to reservation is required. If the 14 days is not met you are required to pay for all nights requested. For special events and holidays your deposit will be refunded less a $15 service charge. Blocked rooms for Weddings, Family Reunions, Sport groups are a Special Event and are non refundable. We do not accept cancellations due to weather.

Rates are subject to change and may vary over holidays and special events. Rates do not include tax.

Must be 18 years old to reserve a room with us.


All reservations require a credit card on file. All charges will be taken care of at check-in.

Gardenwood reserves the right to require a deposit for holidays, events or extended stays. The deposit is applied to the last night of reserved stay.

Minimum reservation (# of days for weekends): Holiday and weekend stays must be at least 2 nights (subject to change) Fri/Sat

Visitors & Extra Guests

Any one who is visiting someone at the resort and would like to use the facilities there is a small fee please see front desk in regards to this request. Sorry no visitor pets at Gardenwood. We do ask for all visitors to please leave by 10:00 pm unless there have been arrangements made with management. Thank you

Extra charge for additional guests sleeping over:

Rates are based on the number of bed accommodations, additional adults add $12.00 per night per adult, children 6 – 18 years $6.00 per night, children 5 and under stay free with parents.

Quite Time

11:00PM each night: meaning voices lowered, music off, fires out. This is out of respect for others trying to enjoy their visit. Thank you.


Pet accommodation

Up to two dogs (3 upon request) are permitted in designated cabins only (check our pet tab). Pets cannot be left unattended on resort property. A non-refundable pet fee of $15 is charged per 1-3 day stay. For a longer than a 3 day stays a non-refundable pet fee of $30 is charges. Any damages incurred will be charged accordingly.

We do not allow pets to be left in vehicles, nor do we allow dog vans on the property.
If a pet (dog or cat) is housed in a non-pet friendly cabin we have the right to charge a $50 fee for not following the rules. We keep our non-pet friendly cabins free of allergies out of respect for guests. Thank you for following the rules. This allows us to continue to have pet friendly cabins.


Free firewood will be provided by staff each night if your cabin happens to include a small private fire pit. Extra trips to the wood pile will accumulate a fee.
There is also a large community fire pit in the center of the property for those that do not have a fire pit. If you would like the community fire going earlier just ask or feel free to get it started.
All fires should be out by 11:00PM for the respect of guests trying to sleep. Thank you.

Charcoal Grills

There are park style charcoal grills through out the property. We have grill brushes and lighter fluid available in the office. Please bring your own charcoal as we do not have any for purchase.


All our units are non-smoking units. Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in cabins. A $100 cleaning fee will be assessed for any smoking damage in a unit.


Our cabins are “housekeeping,” we do not go in to clean  each morning. So please let us know if you need new towels or garbage removed. We respect your privacy and time vacationing.

If you have a kitchen please clean dishes before checking out. Uncleaned dishes upon check-out will accumulate a $25 charge. Thank you.
